This home was a true test of our abilities. In collaboration with the Zada Development Group, we built this home from the ground up to show what we are capable of. Our goal was to build a luxury house with the highest quality materials and create a truly authentic home that would stand the test of time. We utilized the full resources of our construction and design team, and our showroom.

To build this authentic French Country home we used everything from cedar and mahogany to copper and bluestone. The whole house uses a Character grade white oak flooring, broken up with elegant Herringbone wood flooring in the walkways. We wanted to use materials that would last for decades and reflect the home’s authentic style, like real stucco and real mahogany instead of a composite material. To support the weight of our materials we used engineered lumber and engineered steel to reinforce the floors. We also carefully sourced materials to find what was most authentic to the time period.

One of our goals was to have a home where you could entertain a party inside and outside at the same time, and have everyone feel included. So we created a true open concept. We had the kitchen open up to the living and dining room, with french doors that poured into the pool area to take advantage of the weather.

The kitchen was designed through our design team from our own Showroom, Cabinet Plant. We made the kitchen to be fully integrated with the best appliances, creating a functional Chef’s kitchen with the space for a true chef, or simply someone entertaining a large group. We hand selected an elegant Calcutta Gold-Natural marble for the countertops and island sink. This classic Italian white marble is accented by soft grey and gold veining that complimented the cabinetry and flooring beautifully, making it the perfect luxury stone for this home. We also included a 10-burner La Cornue Range to exhibit timeless style and reflect an expression of refined taste. We complimented this with exquisite Armac Martin Hardware for a truly high end aesthetic.

In the bathrooms we used finely crafted Italian faucets and fixtures by Rohl and a Carrara Marble Tile hand selected and imported from Italy. We also installed a Lutron lighting system with a combination of Restoration Hardware and Visual Comfort lighting fixtures, as well as other smart home systems like remote cameras and HVAC systems.

The outside is perfectly designed for entertaining guests or relaxing privately. We used real bluestone for the patios and walkways to create an authentic style that matched the rest of the home’s aesthetic. The pool is a heated, gunite saltwater swimming pool, close to a gorgeous outdoor fireplace and dining area. The roof is made from natural hand-split cedar, and the façade is a beautiful combination of traditional French stucco and cedar over steel frame construction.

We believe that this home serves a showcase to our vision and capabilities. By using smart design and uncompromising attention to craftsmanship, we built a house that is truly magazine-worthy. Be sure to look through all of the pictures of this masterpiece and let us know what you think!
